TLC Therapeutic Riding Center TLC Therapeutic Riding Center provides equine assisted services to children and adults by incorporating equines in interactive therapies.

Equine assisted learning engages individuals in the process of personal development, educational and life skills, mental health and wellness, and horsemanship. The program originally started at Stonewall Schools in 2009. Since then the program has grown to service the surrounding communities. The program is designed to service children and adults with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challeng

As we begin the start of a three day weekend, for those who recognize and celebrate Memorial Day, weā€™d like to re-share this message. In honor of all who have fallen, served in the past and present, we thank you all, both two and four legged.

This is the War Horse memorial at the Virginia Historical Society in Richmond. The inscription reads "In memory of the one and one half million horses and mules of the Confederate and Union armies who were killed, were wounded or died from disease in the Civil War."

This Memorial Day, honor our fallen, honor our soldiers and do not forget that for thousands of years horses, mules, donkeys and dogs fought alongside us to defend our homes, families and countries. They were not paid, rarely honored and often died in vain. Remember them, for without their contributions we would not be here.
