Today we delivered 20 pairs of jeans to the Family Crisis Center, all thanks to everyone who participated in our Denim Exchange! We loved seeing you give your denim a new purpose while finding your next favorite pair.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

Domestic violence doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

MYTH: “If it were really abuse, they would just leave.”

FACT: Leaving an abusive relationship can be one of the most dangerous and difficult times for a survivor. Fear, financial dependence, isolation, children, threats, and many other factors can make leaving incredibly complicated.

Domestic violence is about power and control, not simply anger or an argument.

This October, let’s replace judgment with understanding, recognize the warning signs, and learn how we can be part of creating safer communities.

Listen. Believe. Learn. Speak up.

October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in the United States.

It began in 1987 to raise awareness about domestic violence, connect survivors with resources, honor those who lost their lives, and work toward prevention. The official color for Domestic Violence Awareness month is purple, if you would like to show your support and wear a purple ribbon message us or contact us at (580) 436-6648.
