This morning the weight of the past few months hit pretty hard.

Listening to Lito wheeze and struggle to catch his breath just from walking to the bathroom.

Our nights of constantly interrupted sleep due to loud gasps for air.

Our boy was so healthy, energetic, happy.

I’m forever thankful that we still have him, but it’s hard not to wish his life was a little easier for him.

Lito spent last Thursday following his brother around for Senior Walkthrough, then went to speech, then came back and hung out with grandma while the family cheered Carter on at a packed graduation.

While he’s no longer on chemo and has his PICC line out, his heart rate skyrockets and he gets worn out pretty quick.

These days, our live revolve around Lito, and that’s why this group is called Living on Lito Time.

One of the kids keep scratching my car. For the life of me, I cannot seem to figure out who it is. 👀
