With growing up being the 4th of seven boys, I can’t remember when one or two of my older brothers had paper routes…as if one did, we all did! 🙃 It was during those early years I felt in love with reading the Sports section everyday, especially those thick Sunday morning newspapers!

As I got older I loved watching the late great Hilliard Gates, and listening to my favorite high school players on the Lyn Davis game of the week. So I gain a tremendous amount of love and respect for so many of our local sports media personalities and family! Too many to name, but I’m forever grateful for their incredible investment in our youth, our community and my personal journey over the years! Blessed today, to call many of them FRIEND! THANK YOU ALL!

A huge shout out to my dear friend, Glenn Marini for continuing that same passion, commitment and dedication to our youth and community! Being in Georgia I look forward to still watching the Highlight Zone (YouTube) every week!

This One Will Move You!

Testimonial #3 comes from a young man who I have witnessed flourish and grow despite experiencing unnecessary racism, hate, and bigotry from an early age. If I was at the gym, he would arrive before me, and when it was time to leave I would have to ask him to leave too, he always wanted more time, and just one more shot!

When I gave him books of inspiration and motivation to read (including mine while he was in college), he would read them and provide me with book reports. He was Hungry, and determined to Win! His work ethic, leadership skills, and personal self-discipline inspired me, even at a young age!

Till this day I still treasure and love his check-in texts and phones calls! Conversations with his parents are always encouraging and humbling. !

To say I am excited, happy, and proud of our future MD, Dr. Robert Novak, would be an understatement. I eagerly await the next chapters of Robert's journey; it's going to be special. God does not play about His own. ! 🤩
