Gifts to Give We're building a more caring community by sharing our gifts and connecting children to giving and ser But wait – there’s more!

GiftsToGive is building a new currency for philanthropy and a more caring community, focused on local child poverty, through service. We call it “Tangible Philanthropy and Big Citizenship.”

At first glance, GiftsToGive is a former golf ball factory turned into a philanthropy factory where thousands of child workers process zillions of pounds of donated children’s gear that is then recycled, re-purposed and gifted to local children in-need. Our primary mission is to give all SouthCoast young people – the privileged and those in-need – an opportunity to practice Big Citizenship and Tangible Philanthropy through their gifts of time and treasure. Children come to understand, through their “doing” the power of giving and service and that we all have gifts to give.

We’re excited to share that Dee’s Dogs will be hosting a GiftsToGive Children’s Clothing Drive from September 24 through October 8.
We’re collecting new or gently used children’s clothing of all sizes to support local kids and families.
If you’re stopping by Dee’s Dogs for a meal, feel free to bring along a donation — every item makes a difference.

Annually, her family and the State of Massachusetts honors her memory by issuing the Madeline Amy Sweeney Award for Civilian Bravery to residents who display extraordinary bravery.
