Thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us yesterday for our Kindness and Creativity Workshop 🎨

Your enthusiasm, participation, and positive energy helped make the morning truly special. It was amazing to see children and their families come together to create, share, and spread kindness. We are grateful for every smile, every act of kindness, and every creative moment that was shared.

A special thank you to our amazing GiftsToGive volunteers, whose support helped make this workshop a success.

Getting to Know Our Uber Volunteer Vivian Scrocca 💚

“One of my favorite things to do is relax and watch movies, especially with my daughter, Annette Scrocca. It’s our special quality time together. While we unwind, we also find ways to give back.” - Vivian Scrocca

“Annette volunteers alongside me at GiftsToGive in the clothing department, helping organize and prepare items for care packages that support children in need. We even bring some of the work home so we can stay ahead and make things a little easier for our fellow volunteers. While we watch movies, we sort, size, and wrap children’s socks and underwear into organized packs so they’re ready to be included in care packages. She also helps me organize jewelry, hair clips, and scrunchies into sets for volunteers to easily add to packages. Volunteering together has become such a meaningful part of our lives, and I’m so grateful we can share our time helping children in need while making memories together.” - Vivian Scrocca

✨ From First Visit to a Second Home: Vivian Scrocca’s Volunteer Journey ✨

"When I moved here from New Hampshire, I found myself bored in the house and looking for something meaningful to do to stay active and engaged. A family member of mine introduced me to GiftsToGive and encouraged me to volunteer.

After a tour of the old GiftsToGive building with Gilbert Cabral, I decided to give it a try. Once I started volunteering, I couldn’t stop. I got hooked to the place, the people, and the mission of GiftsToGive.

Meet Vivian Scrocca, our Uber Volunteer of the Month! 💚

Vivian has been working in children’s clothing for
14 years, bringing both experience and heart to everything she does. Her dedication behind the scenes makes a lasting impact.

She spends her time carefully inspecting, sorting, and preparing clothing so that every item is ready to go out to children in need. Beyond this, Vivian also spends her time making sure that every shelf of the clothing department is neatly organized and accessible for volunteers to grab what they need for care packages.

Because of Vivian and the dedicated weekly volunteers in our children’s clothing department, families can count on receiving thoughtfully prepared clothing, no matter the season. Whether it’s warm winter layers or lightweight summer essentials, our volunteers help ensure each child is met with care and comfort.

We are so grateful for the time, compassion, and attention Vivian brings to this important work. Thank you, Vivian, for helping us make a difference — one outfit at a time. 🩳
