Hello Everyone!

"Poetry on the T" is a Mass Poetry program that enables people who commute with the train to read and experience amazing poetry! During the month of January, the program will be featuring "Without Music", one of Marie Howe's poems, as a result of the generous sponsorship from the Robert Creeley Foundation! Next time you take the train, be sure to check out Marie Howe's stellar poetry, as well as the sponsorship poster that lists the Robert Creeley Foundation as a contributor to Mass Poetry!

Quick message for the aspiring poets out there. This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit your poems for the Helen Creeley Student Poetry Prize is January 15th (this Sunday!!). Time is running out, so get those poems in as soon as you can! The foundation cannot wait to see what all of you bring to the table. Good luck, and have fun with it!

As we transition into the new year, its time to start getting excited for what Marie Howe has in store for the Robert Creeley Award Night! However, it's always nice to see what our past winners are up to. Jim Jarmusch's latest movie, Paterson, features poems by Ron Padgett, a former Creeley winner! Hello everyone!! There has been a last-minute change of plans due to unforeseen circumstances. The open mic night tonight (7-9pm) is being moved to Reasons To Be Cheerful, 110 Commonwealth Ave, Concord. They have delicious ice cream and there will be fantastic music and poetry, so come and enjoy the night! We hope to see everyone there.
