Front Row (L to R): Frank Perry, James Carey, Clarence Chapman, Gerry Martin, Arthur Swasey, and John Hill. Back Row (L to R): John Ferguson, George Taylor Jr., Stacey Clark, Ben Chadwick, Don Stacey, William K Goodwin, Frank Osborne, Jack Dow, and Alden Brown. Trying to figure out the location and what group they belonged to? The plaque on wall has “Commodores Roster” and starts 1860s through 1950s visible on it. Some names can be made out. NO DATE ON PHOTO I just received this photo in the mail, from Linda Carey, thank you Linda.

UPDATE: Carolyn (Caroline) was born Caroline Homan. Her mother was a Glover and her great, great grandfather was General John Glover. She married Stephen Prime Dixey. (thanks to Ma Butler for filling in the pieces)

Carolyn Glover Dixey, granddaughter of General Glover. I’m still trying to piece together the genealogy and Dixey connection.
