Adam Galluccio recently completed his Eagle Scout project for the benefit of Household Goods. Over the course of a year, he volunteered hundreds of hours as a furniture mover and also built 3 bed frame moving carts-- a project that required planning, fundraising for materials and leading other scouts through the building process.

The carts went into use imediately upon delivery-- thank you, Adam, for helping people make a home!

Volunteers Needed!

Household Goods has many volunteer shifts but especially needs help on Saturdays, our busiest day, with donors lined up to drop off goods and clients who cannot take time off during the week. It is also the day when we need the most volunteers to keep things running smoothly.

Volunteering on Saturdays is also a terrific way to spend some time with your teenage children, or with your spouse/partner, or with a group of friends who want to make a difference in the lives of others.

Our next New Volunteer Orientations are August 27 and September 12 (10 AM, on site at 530 Main St, Acton) and September 15 (7 PM, virtual via Zoom registration). To learn more and register for orientation, visit https://householdgoods.org/volunteering/
