As we celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we’re reminded of the love, care, and provision that parents and parent figures represent.

This year, our food drive is especially important.

Due to limited availability from the Mississippi Food Network, we are not able to receive as much food assistance as we normally do. Because of that, the need in our community is greater than ever.

From May 1 – June 30, we’re asking our community, churches, businesses, and friends to help us stock shelves and provide food for families in need.

🛒 Items Needed (Non-Perishable):
• Canned vegetables
• Canned meats
• Pasta & rice
• Peanut butter
• Boxed meals

📍 Drop-Off Location:
Broken Wings Thrift Store

❤️💙 Mother’s & Father’s Day Food Drive 💙❤️

As we celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we’re reminded of the love, care, and sacrifice that these roles represent.

But for many families in our community, providing even the basics can be a challenge.

That’s why from May 1 – June 30, we’re coming together to make a difference.

🛒 We’re collecting non-perishable items like:
• Canned vegetables
• Canned meats
• Pasta & rice
• Peanut butter
• Boxed meals

📍 Drop-Off Location:

This is a simple way to honor the heart behind motherhood and fatherhood—by helping care for others.

To better serve our community, we ask that no food donations be left after hours
Please bring all donations during our scheduled hours of operation or leave at the Broken Wings Thrift Store drop off door. If you’re unable to do so, please reach out to us and we will be more than happy to accommodate a time to drop off donations.

Now Yal… we know there are some faithful cans of green beans and corn that have been sitting in your pantry longer than some folks have been sitting in the same pew 😅

This is their moment to be called into ministry!

We’re collecting canned vegetables all month long to help bless families in our community. Green beans, corn, peas, carrots—if it’s in a can, we can use it!

Let’s come together and turn pantry extras into a powerful blessing. ❤️
