Choctaw Regional Medical Center is proud to announce a Non-Perishable Food Drive spearheaded by our Emergency Department Medical Director, Dr. Shunda Garner. 🩺💙

Together, we can make a difference for our neighbors in need. A collection box is now available in the CRMC Cafeteria for donations of non-perishable food items. 🥫🍝

📅 Donations will be accepted now through mid-October.

All collected items will be donated to Broken Wings Ministries Food Pantry and distributed back to residents of Choctaw County to help provide support and nourishment to local families. 🤝❤️

Every can, every box, and every donation matters. Thank you for helping us care for our community beyond the walls of our hospital. 🏥✨

Finished touches on floor. We use some of our extra paint to paint our pallets also.

The Choctaw County Baptist Food Ministry will be closed on Wednesday, July 29, for maintenance. No food boxes can be fix until Wednesday August 5th.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to serving you when we reopen on our next scheduled distribution day.

REMINDER

Please remember 🍎 Each household that is currently signed up for the food ministry may only receive one food box per month. When you sign up, that week becomes your regular pickup week. (Example: If you apply on the 2nd Wednesday, your pickup week will always be the 2nd Wednesday of each month.)

🌾 July Item of the Month: Rice 🌾

This July, we're collecting bags of rice to help stock the shelves at the Choctaw County Baptist Food Ministry.

Rice is a simple, nutritious staple that goes a long way in helping families prepare filling meals. Your donation can make a real difference for neighbors in need throughout our community.

As sent out last week as a text alert, we are if someone else is picking up your food box for you, they must be listed as your approved proxy. If they are not listed, the food box cannot be issued. This is in an effort to make sure that the listed neighbor (food client) is receiving their box.
