Day two of our week celebrating women winemakers in honor of International Women’s Day.
March is a month dedicated to honoring the strength and dedication of women in shaping history and driving positive change, and today we’re proud to spotlight Vivian Valenzuela, Owner, Grower, and Winemaker of WOO GIRL! Cellars in Acampo within the Lodi AVA.
Vivian leads a mission-driven, independent winery rooted in organic and regenerative farming, intentional craftsmanship, and long-term stewardship of a historic estate along the Mokelumne River. Her work reflects a deep commitment not only to the land and the wines it produces, but also to elevating voices that have been historically underrepresented in the wine industry.
She is also a proud supporter of the Lodi Appellation Inclusion Collective (LAIC), a nonprofit working to increase diversity within the Lodi wine region and the industry at large through education, mentorship, and hands-on exposure to careers in wine.
For Vivian, being part of LAIC reflects a shared belief that inclusion, collaboration, and integrity strengthen both the Lodi appellation and the broader wine community.
Follow along this week as we continue highlighting the inspiring women winemakers supporting LAIC and helping shape the future of Lodi wine. 🍇
