Absecon 9-11 Memorial Founders Committee Absecon 9-11 Memorial Committee was formed to coordinate efforts to create a Memorial honoring all those who lost their lives on
9-11-2001.

Absecon has been given a 16 foot steel beam from the 39th floor of the World Trade Center's South Tower. To honor the memory of the victims and the courage of the first responders, Absecon will include this beam in a memorial to be constructed at Heritage Park. Thank you Absecon! Thank you to those who supported our dine to donate event. Thank you so much to Joe & John's Pizza & Italian Restaurant for not only donating a portion of sales to the comittee but also for inviting us to spend the day selling stickers and collecting donations. Your family and staff are amazing and made us feel right at home. You also have wonderful customers.

Today is the day! Grab lunch or dinner, eat there or take out, mention or show the flyer (paper copy or in your phone). As portion of food sales will go to the 9/11 Absecon 9-11 Memorial Founders Committee.

Money raised will not only purchase new flags at the memorial and replace needed landscaping, cover insurance, etc, but with this year being the 25th anniversary, there will be a breakfast for first responders only. The breakfast will be free for them and they will receive a small gift as a token of our appreciation.

Stay tuned for information about a Patriotic Night. We will also have a coin drop soon.
