There will be a pot luck September 15, Tuesday, at 11am at Abita Springs Town Hall. Get to know us! Please join us! Message me with your name and what you want to bring.

Join us Wednesday night at 5 pm in the piano lounge of the Southern Hotel for music and happy hour (soda or mocktails, if you like).

We can use Town Hall for a breakfast/brunch get together September 1 or 15, a Tuesday. To use it for free, we would agree to volunteer at a Town event. Does this sound ok?

Also, is anyone interested interested in going to Taste of Tammany or Coolinary? They end 8/31.

Hello, All!

It’s hot but nothing a shower and/or a snoball won’t fix! We’re still walking MWFSa at 8:30am. We meet at the Abita Trailhead (in front of the park). Join us!

Tonight, 8/21/26-the “Concert at the Landing” in Covington will be inside, instead, at Northshore Vineyard Church, 525 E Boston St., next to Busters on Boston. It starts at 6.

A Tuesday reduced price movie matinee at Movie Tavern, which has $6 + popcorn. They also offer low cost food/snack specials. Want to look to see what’s available 9/1?

Potluck: I sent a message to see if the group could use a small area at Town Hall for a pot luck. I’m waiting for possible dates.

Invite others to join, when you can. There’s strength and persistence in numbers!
