If you've been thinking about donating, NOW is the time!

We are looking at a staggering $70,000 that we still need to raise in order to maximize the donor match for our Capital Campaign. The deadline for the match is firmly set at September 30th.

29 Days to raise $70,000! Help us receive the full $200,000 match. Every dollar you donate to our capital campaign is doubled through the end of the month.

I’m a good ole boy who loves people and food, pretty much in that order. I have a chill disposition, but I do sound the alarm if you forget mealtime! Other cats don’t bother me. I’ve seen a lot and and very content to just hang out in my safe spots.

My foster Mom says, "A total sweetheart with a motorboat purr to match. This affectionate boy loves pets, cuddles, and simply being close to his people. If you stop petting him, he’ll gently reach out with his paw to ask for more attention.

Hank is relaxed, trusting, and even enjoys belly rubs! While he’s not a fan of being carried around, he’ll happily come running when called for some lovins and companionship.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving cat who wants to be your little shadow, Hank may be your perfect match."

Many thanks to Temple Adas Shalom of Havre de Grace for inviting us to their “Paws & Claws” Shabbat on 8/28 and for their generous donations to Shadow Cats TNR. The event reminded us of the important connection between humans and animals, and it was a joyous celebration. We look forward to continuing partnership with our new friends!

Penny is a sweet kitty is looking for home where she can settle in at her own pace. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate personality starts to shine. She gets along well with other cats. We are currently raising funds for our Capital Campaign to help us purchase a building! In doing this we have been looking at places to purchase and but have not found anything that suits our needs.

What we are looking to find:
~ Priced around $400k (We would love to afford more but funds are tight)
~ Along the Route 40/Route 7 corridors and their immediate tributaries
~ Zoned B3 (General Business District)
~ Must have an existing usable structure on site
~ Have water with at least one bathroom
~ Approximately 3,000 square feet

When you send an applicant pictures of the available barn cats and their response is, “We’ll take whoever is left and needs a home,” you can’t help but be in awe of the generosity and kindness in people’s hearts.

Four very wonderful children were eager to help carry supplies, get everything set up, and welcome them to their new farmstead.

As we were leaving, we even had the sweetest bonus—a family of wild turkeys making an appearance! 🦃

This little trio of cats is incredibly fortunate to have landed with such a wonderful family. We are beyond grateful for people who open their homes, farms, and hearts to animals in need. ❤️
