Southwest Virginia Alliance for Manufacturing The Southwest Virginia Alliance for Manufacturing is a non-profit organization that supports the sustainment and advancement of manufacturing in SWVA.

WHO WE ARE
Advanced manufacturing in the 21st century is the largest contributor to economic growth in our nation. The mission of the Southwest Virginia Alliance for Manufacturing is to help area manufacturers develop a skilled workforce to remain efficient and competitive. SVAM is a nonprofit membership organization created to build networking and skills training programs for industries, to educate the public about advanced manufacturing, and to publicize career opportunities. Our partnerships with various community, state, and national organizations have led to major education and funding opportunities for Southwest Virginia manufacturers.

What’s next for manufacturing in Southwest Virginia?

The future isn’t something waiting twenty years down the road. In many ways, it’s already beginning to take shape.

2026 Community Impact Award Spotlight: Westlake Royal Building Products

Manufacturing makes an impact far beyond the products coming off the line—and Westlake Royal Building Products is a powerful example of that.
