SUPPORTERS OF FAITH IN ACTION....
At the current time, donations of food are much lower than the number of items needed to fill carts for our clients.
We are averaging between 675 and 725 families each month.
In the month of April, we passed out over 7,000 (yes, SEVEN THOUSAND!) canned food items to the families that came through our food pantry. We pass out well over 75,000 cans of food per year!!
We can ALWAYS use donations of any canned food items, specifically canned fruit, soups, corn, pinto beans, baked beans, green beans, or any other canned veggies, meats, pasta, etc...
We can also always use ANY other non perishable food items you would like to donate...such as peanut butter (small jars), saltine crackers, tuna, cold cereals, granola bars, snacks, drinks, boxed items like mac and cheese, rice a roni, stove stop stuffing, instant potatoes, etc.
If you would like to help, we accept food donations at 798 Hillman Hwy in Abingdon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 2:30pm each week.
