💜💛 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💛💜

Our washing machine may have officially given up, but our community certainly didn’t! 🐾🙌🏻

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Robert Sudbury, April Ewing, Jan Fite, Rob Brooks, Nona Barstad, Sterling Robertson, and Mr. & Mrs. Brown with Express Employment Professionals, Rescue the Animals is getting a brand new commercial washing machine! 🧺🐶 There were a couple anonymous donations as well! 💜

With the amount of laundry we do every single day, this is more than just a washing machine it’s something our staff desperately needed to keep up with caring for the animals.

From all of us at Rescue the Animals and from all the dogs and cats who will benefit from it

🚨 WE NEED A WASHING MACHINE! 🚨

Our washing machine has officially thrown in the towel. 🫠 And when you run a rescue, you can imagine how quickly that becomes a BIG problem!

We already have 3 baskets of laundry just from ONE DAY. Between bedding, towels, blankets and everything else, a working washing machine is something we absolutely cannot go without.

💜 Do you have a good, working washing machine you’d be willing to donate to Rescue the Animals? We would be SO grateful!

Or, if you’d like to help us purchase a new one, donations toward a washing machine would make a huge difference. Every dollar helps us keep the laundry and our dogs clean and comfortable! 🐾🧺

Once again, Rescue the Animals had the honor of partnering with Wings of Rescue for a very special flight to honor a true hero, Zach Scheiman.

Because of this amazing mission, 25 of our dogs were able to take flight and head to our rescue partners in the North, where they will have the opportunity to find their forever homes. 💛

We were completely surprised to see David Chokachi from Baywatch there to be part of it! It was special to see his genuine passion for helping animals and supporting the mission of Wings of Rescue.

We are so grateful to Wings of Rescue for the incredible work they do and for coming back to Abilene once again to help our dogs.

Thank you for helping our dogs get one step closer to home!
