It is designed to help provide jobs for our neighbors experiencing the barrier of homelessness and connect them to other resources they need to improve their quality of life. Work Again West Texas is supported by a local advisory board and is operationally powered by Goodwill-West Texas. The program offers part-time jobs and skills training to people currently experiencing or who are at-risk of ho

melessness. Participants transition into sustainable employment through mentorship and job readiness training with our Program Coordinator.

Everyone deserves to make a living, regardless of the barriers they face.

Work Again West Texas is a program to help provide jobs for our neighbors experiencing the barrier of homelessness and connect them to other resources they need to improve their quality of life.

Through Work Again West Texas, participants work part-time jobs cleaning and beautifying streets and alleyways throughout Abilene.

We believe that in order to get a job, you have to have a job. When our neighbors have a source of income and proven work experience on their resumes, they have a greater chance of landing full-time jobs in our local communities.
