WTHN was so happy to host ACU’s Black Student Union for a street feed this past Sunday. This group prepared a homemade meal to serve our unsheltered neighbors. We are grateful for such a partnership.

WORLD 🌎 HOMELESS DAY 2026

Today, West Texas Homeless Network was presented a check by our youngest donors yet. These young ladies wanted to do something to help their neighbors experiencing homelessness, so they had a lemonade/bake sale. They exceeded their goal and showed their community that help comes from the heart ❤️ On behalf of the entire coalition, we thank you for your support, service, and kindness.

Today, we would like to congratulate Sargent John “RAM” Ramirez on his retirement. His dedication and servant leadership were instrumental in starting the homeless outreach team at APD. Your love for your community and all neighbors is evident. Thank you for your service, leadership, and advocacy for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. You will be greatly missed.
You are one of a kind John! Congratulations 🎉

Collaboration is key to turning ideas into high-impact, actionable results

WTHN is grateful to All Kind Animal Initiative for working with our neighbors experiencing homelessness to vaccinate their dogs.
Fun fact: a key to permanent housing is having animals shot records up to date. This was made possible because of the services provided by All Kind Animal Initiative. We thank you!!

WTHN END OF YEAR CELEBRATION 🥳
Last week, we ended our year celebrating the wins in our community. We heard from households and individuals on how they successfully obtain permanent housing. It takes COMMUNITY to address the social issue of homelessness. WE ALL have a hand in the systematic approaches of making homelessness rare, brief, and non recurring. Thank you to all those involved in the work!
