In Loving Memory of Jesse Adam Rosales, Jr.
October 18, 1982 – September 23, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the Jerrin’s Hope family shares the passing of our President, Jesse Adam Rosales, Jr.
Jesse was part of Jerrin’s Hope before we were officially a nonprofit in March 2024. He didn't simply hold the title of President, he helped carry this mission from its earliest days because the young man at the heart of it was his family.
Jerrin Hernandez was Jesse’s nephew. Jerrin and his siblings were like the children Jesse never had, and he loved them deeply. When Jerrin’s life was taken by fentanyl, Jesse turned that love and grief into a commitment to protect other young people and families from experiencing the same loss.
Through Jerrin’s Hope, Jesse helped us raise awareness about fentanyl, support families, educate our community, and remind young people that their lives are worth fighting for. His service was an extension of who he already was: someone who loved big, showed up for people, and believed no one should be left behind.
That same love defined the life he built with his wife, Whitney Rosales, who continues to serve Jerrin’s Hope as our Treasurer. Jesse and Whitney were approaching 18 years together with their anniversary on October 12. They were married October 12, 2013 at Papaw’s house in Brady, Texas. Their life together became part of the foundation of this organization, and we surround Whitney and Jesse’s families with our love as they grieve an unimaginable loss.
Jesse was so much more than the title he held with us. He was a husband, son, uncle, friend, musician, drummer, photographer, outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, cyclist, mentor, and community servant. He spent his career working alongside his father in the family auto glass business and gave his time to teach others to play drums. Whether on a cycling tour, behind a drum kit, at the farm, or serving his community, Jesse had a way of bringing people along with him.
His family described him simply and perfectly:
“Jesse was truly one good guy.”
We couldn't agree more.
Jerrin’s Hope exists because love can become action. Jesse embodied that belief. The work he helped build will continue, and his fingerprints will remain on this organization and its mission for years to come.
One of Jesse’s final messages to his family captured the freedom and simplicity he wanted:
“Just put me somewhere on my farm and let me be me… Just let me be free.”

Thank you for loving Whitney.
Thank you for loving your family and community.
And thank you for helping us turn an unimaginable loss into hope for someone else.
