Our cattle kids have been as busy as the lambs and goats. The Johnson family has been keeping the road hot showing their steers and heifers. They showed in the Cattlelac series in Abilene last weekend. They also have pigs and have attended several shows all the way into the panhandle. Our farm has been busy all summer and shows no sign of slowing down. We are very proud of these hard working kids!

A couple of our lamb and goat showmen took the weekend to work on their showmanship skills. Jackson Weaver and Addie Frazier worked hard and will be ready when we start hitting the road. Addie was named second place senior showman. Congratulations to both of these kiddos!!

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped set up! And thank you for supporting our stock show exhibitors.

The stage is set, and we’re ready for tonight’s Farm to Table Dinner! A huge thank you to these amazing kids who gave their time and worked so hard to help make it all happen.

Kicking off Neon Nights Fun Night with a great dinner! One more day of convention to go. Tomorrow we will find out who our state travel team will be.

First two full days have been filled with stockyard visits, attending sessions to vote on FFA business and officer candidates, getting to hear Abilene’s own Aaron Watson and playing some TopGolf. State FFA Convention is getting off to a great start!
