Our very first Pack 260 Bike Rodeo was a huge success! 🚲🎉

A huge THANK YOU to Safety City for hosting us and providing such an awesome place for our Scouts to build confidence, practice bike handling skills, and learn important bicycle safety. We truly appreciate your support in helping make this event possible!

We also loved having Pack 271 join us! It was so much fun bringing two Cub Scout packs together for an evening of learning, laughter, and new friendships. Watching Scouts encourage one another while improving their biking skills was exactly what Scouting is all about.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, leaders, and families who helped make the night run so smoothly. And of course, great job to all of our Scouts for working hard, trying new challenges, and staying safe while having fun!

Here’s to making our first Bike Rodeo the start of a new Pack 260 tradition! 🚴💙💛

Grab your bike and helmet and join us for an evening of riding, learning, and fun!

Our Scouts will rotate through activities designed to help them:
🚴 Practice bike handling skills
🛑 Learn important bike safety rules
🚧 Ride through fun obstacle courses
⭐ Build confidence on two wheels

Don’t forget to bring:

✔️ Helmet
✔️ Water bottle
✔️ Closed-toe shoes

💦 Pack 260 Back to Scouts Night Pool Party! 💦

Join us for one last splash before the new Scouting year kicks off!

This is a FREE event for all Pack 260 families, and siblings are welcome!

We’re also excited to have Troop 232 and Troop 258 joining us! This is a great opportunity for our Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to meet Scouts and leaders from both troops, ask questions, and learn more about what comes next in their Scouting journey.

🍿 Snack bar available for purchases if you’d like a treat during the evening.

Bring your swimsuit, towel, and your Scout spirit—we can’t wait to see everyone for a fun night of swimming, fellowship, and kicking off another great year of Scouting!

⚾️ Pack 260 Scout Night with the Abilene Flying Bison! 🦬

Who’s ready for a fun night at the ballpark? Grab your Scout shirt or uniform and join us Saturday, July 11 for an evening cheering on the Abilene Flying Bison!

Scout Night is always a blast watching the game, visiting with Scout friends, cheering on the Bison, and making great memories as a Pack.

🎟 Scouts wearing their Scout uniform or Pack t-shirt get in FREE!
🧵 The first 250 youth Scouts will receive a commemorative Scout patch.
💲Family members can purchase $7 General Admission tickets by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

Pack 260 had their rank up tonight and their pack meeting.

To "rank up" in Scouts means to progress through a structured advancement system. As a Scout learns new skills—such as camping, first aid, and citizenship—they complete specific requirements to earn higher ranks, which builds self-confidence, leadership, and character.

Thank you to all parents for being part of this amazing team and helping with their achievements and your time.

This weekend Pack 260 enjoyed 2 nights, 3 days of tent camping at Dinosaur Valley State Park!

Scouts and their families enjoyed time together outside hiking, fishing, swimming, making Dutch oven desserts, roasting s’mores, making paracord bracelets, and making so many memories!
