Today our Bucs are trading helmets, pads, and pom-poms for backpacks, pencils, and classrooms! ✏️🎒

To all of our athletes heading back to school: remember, being a Buc doesn’t stop when you leave the field. Work hard. Be respectful. Help others. Lead by example. Bring the same effort and attitude to the classroom that you bring to practice every day.

Parents, we hope everyone has a smooth first day and an AMAZING school year!

🏴‍☠️ TEAM MOM SPOTLIGHT – Courtney Peterson (Thomas) ❤️

Today we’re excited to recognize Courtney Peterson (Thomas), one of the incredible Team Moms supporting our Yung Bucs Flag Football family!

Courtney has a heart for these young athletes, and it shows in everything she does. She shared that she became a Team Mom because each of the boys has become like one of her own. Watching them learn new skills, build confidence, and accomplish things they never thought they could is what brings her the most joy.

Originally from Pennsylvania and a proud Steelers fan, Courtney brings energy, encouragement, and genuine care to our sidelines each week. The support she gives our coaches, players, and families helps create the positive environment we’re working so hard to build.

As Courtney says:
“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
