Habitat for Humanity Abilene

Habitat for Humanity Abilene has a special place in my heart.
Designs by DiAlly created mums for the two winners that raised the most money. This money will ultimately put a family in a new home here in Abilene. 💙

💙 A week ago, our community came together for something truly special! 🏠

As we look back through some of the photos from the 2026 Habitat Homecoming Gala, we’re reminded that these pictures capture more than a great evening. They capture a community coming together to make a difference. To build a house!

Together, we raised an incredible $172,951 for Habitat for Humanity Abilene! 🏠

To our sponsors, donors, guests, volunteers, committee members and anyone else who helped make the evening possible, thank you. These are memories we’ll treasure, and the impact of your generosity will continue long after the gala.

👑 A CROWN, A COURT & $170,000+ REASONS TO CELEBRATE 👑

There are nights we celebrate. Then there are nights we REMEMBER and last Thursday became a night to remember!

We would like to give a HUGE congratulations 🎊 to the 2026 Habitat for Humanity Abilene Homecoming Gala King & Queen - Kent Beck and Bailey Kimmel 👑🎉

Kent and Bailey may have taken the home the crowns, but every member of the 2026 Homecoming Gala court is a winner. Together, this amazing group raised a record breaking total for Habitat Abilene!

What was raised means more than just dollars 💵 💰

IT MEANS walls going up.
IT MEANS keys being handed over.
IT MEANS families having a place to call home.
IT MEANS hope becoming something you cam walk through the front door of 🏠❤️

To every member of the Homecoming Gala Court - THANK YOU! Thank you for stepping up, sharing our mission, rallying your friends and families, making the asks, showing up to build and giving your time and energy to help make homeownership possible for local families.

We build homes 🏡
We build communities 🏠🏡
We build hope 🙏 💙
