Krystal is a mom, wife, sister and friend who is fighting leukemia for a second time. After receiving a lifesaving transplant in 2012, she now needs another blood stem cell transplant.

The challenge? There is currently no matching donor in the donor pool.

The Community Health Nursing students at TSU School of Nursing recently hosted a swab drive through Earl Young’s Team and the response was incredible. They used up all of their supplies in just ONE hour!

Every person who swabs is another potential match and another opportunity to give hope to someone battling blood cancer.

We’re grateful for this partnership with Tennessee State University’s Community Health Nursing students and can’t wait to see what’s next.
