In 2016, Kira Howard attended a swab drive hosted during chapel at Dallas Baptist University. Alongside 167 students she joined the donor pool, becoming a hero in waiting. Ten years later, she answered the call and donated, giving a patient the gift of hope and a second chance at life.

As a Bone Marrow Transplant nurse, Kira understands the incredible impact a donor can have. Today, she's not only caring for patients, she's become apart of someone's story.
