Thank you, Big Country, for a wonderful Texas Independence Day Celebration! We toured Frontier Texas! and enjoyed their renovated space and new exhibit space.

Project Worldwide complete! The Abilene-Sweetwater Exes packed bags for . These bags provide dignity and essential items for children of all ages removed from their homes. Nurture Nolan is growing and expanding their services; stay tuned for more from this amazing nonprofit!

It's Project Worldwide time! Join your Abilene-Sweetwater Exes to volunteer with an amazing nonprofit founded by one of our very own!

Nurture Nolan was founded by two child welfare attorneys, including Samantha Morrow (Texas Exes Life Member). Nurture Nolan was created to provide dignity and hope to every child removed from their home in Nolan County, Texas due to abuse or neglect by providing them a standard-size duffle bag in which to transport their belongings. Each bag is filled with essential toiletry and age-appropriate comfort items to help ease their transition into their new homes.

The Abilene-Sweetwater Exes will be assembling bags of donated items for Nuture Nolan on Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. - noon at 204 E. Broadway Avenure, Sweetwater, TX 79556. If you would like to donate to Nurture Nolan, pajamas of all sizes are needed, as well as diapers, wipes, and monetary donations. If you would like to donate but cannot attend, please contact Allison Alvarez, Chapter President, at 325-669-6964 for donation pickup.
