Sunday, September 27th at Unity of Abilene, we welcome Reverend Janie Kelley at 11 am and her topic is:
TRANSCENDING LIMITATIONS -

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Where would you live?
Who would be in your life?
What would you do for work or life activities?
How would your life be different?
The big question is: What is stopping you?

We are taught about our limitations, either directly or indirectly, all through life. What if the limitations we’ve been taught are not the Truth?
Let’s open our minds and explore what spiritual masters and sacred scriptures have to say about Transcending Limitation.

Rev Janie Kelley’s message for Sunday:
“What I Learned From Edwene”
I first met Edwene more than 40 years ago. After hearing her speak for less than a minute, I thought to myself, “I want what she’s got!” After that first meeting, I followed her from a distance by reading her material and listening to her recordings. I called her “My mentor from afar.” She was amused by the title I gave her.

17 years ago, I called Edwene and asked her if she would agree to a more formal mentorship. She said, “Yes”. We met by phone every 2 weeks and occasionally in person. She taught me deep spiritual principles and how to apply them to my life. She mentored me with compassion, tough love and humor.

Edwene has been, and always will be, a positive influence and a beautiful bright light in my life. She helped me turn my life around during a very difficult time in my life.

It is my honor to share, with you, some of the teachings I learned from her.

Join Unity of Abilene at 11 am on August 30th for Rev Janie’s message and the music of Terri Knight.

All are invited to a potluck meal afterwards!
