A volunteer took sweet Wilbur for a doggy day out. Here’s the report. Read and then jump in your car to beat the others that surely will want him also. Otherwise, he’s scheduled to be euthanized. 😭😭😭

Look at our sweet Lacey!! She was owner surrendered to us over a year ago, scared of the world, because her owners never socialized her with humans or pets. It’s been a long time coming, but Lacey is coming into her own thanks to the hard work of Samantha Hasse-Smith! She loves little humans and other dogs!

Our sweet Gale has amazing news!! After 2.5 years, she found her forever!! This was the pup we pulled from our local shelter who went to a foster home with a person who had been in rescue for many years. Sadly, the foster home turned out to be a nightmare. Gale was attacked by other dogs more than once and out through other horrible situations we only found out about when she was injured to the point she nearly lost her leg.

Thanks to the commitment and dedication of Dana McHann, not only did Gale keep her leg, she learned to trust again and learned that not all dogs mean danger.

This week, Gale went home with her mom and dad and puppy siblings and is having the time of her life!! We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Sometimes dogs are failed by humans far too many times. Sometimes it takes a very long time and committed hearts to undo that damage. Thank God for fosters like Dana and adopters willing to give sweet rescue dogs a chance. Forever looks good on you, Gale!!

Excellent rescue transport based out of the Abilene, TX area! Currently, planning once a month transports to the northeast. July 22 and Aug 12 are their first two dates. Their prices are VERY reasonable!

They are in the process of building their page but they operate a diesel shuttle bus with airline kennels. They have a playpen area for “no paws on the ground” pups to stretch their legs and play while kennels are being cleaned. They also have a sanitation protocol in place using gloves, glove change between litters and Rescue sanitizer to prevent any potential contamination.

They have done some volunteer transports for our rescue and are excellent long term fosters as well. They do a wonderful job with the pups and understand how important TLC along the way is for these babies.

Please help me share and get their name out there! Kennels still available for the 7/22 run.
