We’re one day removed from returning to the Big Country after the 2025 Buffalo Run - Adventure Challenge, and I hope all the teams and Camp Able staff have gotten some much-needed rest. We’re proud to have been named one of the Top Ten Fundraising Teams, but more than that, we’re just thankful to have been part of something so meaningful. Huge congratulations to Cody Cox and the entire Camp Able of Buffalo Gap crew for leading an unforgettable event. And to everyone who donated, followed along, shared our posts, and supported not just our team but all the teams, thank you. This event is what it is because of you. Let’s get at’er.

Mornin’ from Amarillo, y’all! The Pitter Patter Skool Bus is somehow still standing, barely, l and officially on the home stretch after surviving a whole gang of Y’allnados last night. Pretty sure we saw a lawn chair fly past at 70 mph, but we ain’t asking questions. We’re tired, smell vaguely like gas station pizza and sweat, but we are fired up to roll back into town and celebrate another Buffalo Run with everyone tonight! As we wrap up this wild adventure, I just want to pause and offer this: Father, thank you for all of your many blessings, each and every day. I pray for the safe return of all the teams making their way home. I pray this year’s event raised more money than ever before for Camp Able and those they serve in your name. I pray for every individual they reach, that they may find joy, peace, and healing through that incredible work. May Camp Able continue to pour out your heavenly embrace on everyone who walks through their gates with a need.Lord, I personally want to thank you for the chance to serve. Just a few years ago I didn’t even believe in you, and now you’ve filled my life with love and purpose in ways I never thought possible. I know I’m not the only one who’s felt that transformation, and I thank you for the way you continue to show up in our lives. Help us all lay our burdens down, our pride, fear, anger, and selfishness, so we can better love you and love our neighbors. In your name, Amen.

Pitter Patter Skool Bus Status Update 🚌

We have survived another leg of the journey and find ourselves miraculously still moving in Santa Rosa, NM. The Pitter Patter Skool Bus is running strong, well, strong-ish, holding steady at a thundering 65 mph. That’s right, folks. Sixty-five. Uphill if we get a good tailwind and everyone leans forward.

The cabin air is currently a cocktail of truck stop coffee, off-brand yogurt, and enough Old Spice to knock out a raccoon. We’re running on caffeine, sarcasm, and the sheer willpower of a few old dudes trying to remember where they put their blood pressure meds.

This bus may not be fast, but she’s full of heart, and possibly expired beef jerky. Still, we’re rollin’ on toward Pikes Peak, powered by friendship, fumes, and a questionable understanding of automotive maintenance.

Before we dive back into the chaos (and before Team Fast and the Furriest pulls over for the sixth time to check their oil with a McFlurry spoon), we wanted to take a moment and say a prayer.

Father, thank You for another day. Another morning to laugh, to drive, to serve.
We give it all to You, our safety, our weariness, our purpose. Keep all of us safe out here on this ridiculous and wonderful journey, yes, even the Robertson boys. Let us enjoy every stop, every breakdown, every random gas station Slim Jim.
May we be reminded that all this madness points to something good, raising support for the amazing kids of Camp Able. Give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and hands to do Your will.
