Enjoy FREE cultural festivities with activities for all ages on Oct. 29 from 5-8pm!
This annual tradition brings the community together to remember loved ones through joyful activities and mindful celebrations. This centuries-old holiday from Mexico is now celebrated internationally, spreading vibrant cultural traditions such as sugar skulls, ballet folklorico, and fragrant ofrendas with it. The Grace’s annual festival includes crafts, calaveras, dance performances, face painting, and more!

Also, we are partnering with Grain Theory to offer a Festival After Party! Stop by the brewery between 6:00pm – 9:00pm to enjoy extended festivities.

For the schedule of events, and to learn more, visit our website at https://thegracemuseum.org/event/ddlm-2026/

This event is sponsored by H-E-B , Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, Batjer Heating & Cooling, and the Excelsior Foundation

Come experiment with the artistic process of acrylic paint and joint compound on a canvas board! This painting technique uses joint compound to create a 3D effect that will bring the subject of your choosing to life. Participants will receive a demonstration and step-by-step guidance. This is a great class for those who may be intimidated by traditional technical painting – or for pro-painters and crafters looking to mix it up. 🎃
