Meet Prongs! 🐾

🚨 LOWRIDER ALERT! 🚨

Hi, I’m Prongs! I’m a handsome 1-year-old tricolor mixed breed with some serious Corgi heritage, which means I’ve got the short legs, long body, and absolutely adorable lowrider look! 😍

But don’t let those little legs fool you - I’m ready for some fun and adventure! I have medium energy, so I enjoy getting out and about without needing to be on the go 24/7. I’m also great with other dogs, so I’d fit right into a multi-dog household or be the perfect canine companion for someone looking for a fun buddy.

And here’s an added bonus: I seem to be potty trained! 🙌 I’m already neutered and up to date on all my vaccines, so I’m ready to pack my bags and head home.

Now I just need to find the person who looks at my tiny legs and big personality and says, “Yep. That’s my dog.” ❤️

Meet Khaleesi! ❤️

This beautiful 8-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix may not look like she’s feeling her best just yet, but trust us when we say there is a major glow-up in her future!

Khaleesi came to us with some skin issues that have thankfully been resolved. Now, she just needs a little time, TLC, and patience while her gorgeous coat grows back. And while her appearance may be a little rough around the edges right now, her personality is nothing but sweet.

Khaleesi is already spayed and ready to settle into a loving home where she can be the gentle, affectionate companion she was meant to be. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, and her laid-back energy makes her the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. She’s just as happy hanging out on the couch with you as she is enjoying some time outside!

Sometimes the dogs who need us most are the ones who don't look their best at first glance. But Khaleesi is proof that underneath every rough exterior can be an absolutely wonderful dog just waiting for someone to see her for who she really is.

Meet Diesel! This handsome guy is ready to leave his shelter days behind and find the family he’s been waiting for.

Diesel was recently surrendered through no fault of his own, and let us tell you… this boy comes with a LONG list of green flags. He’s kennel trained, potty trained, great with other dogs AND great with kids. Basically, Diesel has already done the hard work and is ready to settle into his new home!

At about 6 years old, Diesel has a wonderful mix of maturity and fun. He’d be a fantastic addition to an active family looking for a loyal companion to join in on life’s adventures.

Now all Diesel needs is someone to see just how great he is. Come meet him, spend some time getting to know him, and let’s see if you might be his perfect match!

Sometimes, animal welfare doesn’t happen between the hours on the clock.

These sweet little kittens came in close to closing time, covered in fleas, malnourished, and in desperate need of some extra TLC. And while the building may have closing hours, our commitment to the animals doesn’t.

Sometimes our team comes in early. Oftentimes, they stay late. And when tiny bottle babies need care around the clock, our Cat Team steps up to make sure they are safe, comfortable, happy, and getting exactly what they need.

One of our amazing staff members took these babies home after work to bottle feed them and keep a close eye on them throughout the rest of the evening. That is the kind of dedication we are so lucky to have at All Kind.

We just love our staff, and we are incredibly grateful for the Cat Team and everything they do - even when no one is watching and the workday is technically over.

Thank you, Cat Team, for always going the extra mile for the animals who need you most.

🐾 Everybody, meet Dave. 🐾

Yes. His name is Dave. And honestly, it is the perfect name for him. 😂

Dave is about a year old, already neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, and a big ol’ Shepherd softie with a goofy personality and a wonderfully laid-back attitude. 🥹❤️

Dave is a lower-energy guy who believes life is best lived at a comfortable pace. No need to run everywhere, no need to make a big fuss — just hang out, enjoy some snacks, take a leisurely stroll, and see where the day takes you. Honestly, Dave has figured out the whole “chill” thing better than most of us. 😂

When it comes to other dogs, Dave is more of a “I respect your personal bubble, please respect mine” kind of guy. 😂🐕 He is dog tolerant rather than a canine social butterfly, and he would do best with respectful doggy companions and proper introductions.

Dave isn't looking for a chaotic household or a packed social calendar. He's looking for a person who appreciates a sweet, easygoing dog with a goofy streak and a relaxed outlook on life. Someone who will let him be Dave.

And really, what more could you ask for?

A Shepherd named Dave. A big softie. A little goofy. Low-key. Easygoing. Probably has strong opinions about snacks. 🍖

Meet JasPurr, a sweet little guy who marches to the beat of his own paws.

JasPurr is about a year old, neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and full of quirky personality. He loves shredding paper and paper bags, hunting for toys, and - perhaps most importantly - he even plays fetch!

But JasPurr is also a very shy and skittish kitty who can find the world a little overwhelming. He isn't a fan of being held, and when he's nervous, he may prefer to tuck himself away under the bed until he feels safe again. He previously lived with another cat, but began stalking and stressing his companion despite his owner trying veterinary care, calming techniques, boarding, and reintroduction.

JasPurr isn't looking for a home where he has to be the life of the party. He's looking for a quiet, patient person who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

He may not be an instant lap cat, but underneath that nervous exterior is a quirky little guy with plenty of personality just waiting to be discovered. Give him the time and space he needs, and we think JasPurr could surprise you with just how special he is.

Orphan Kitten Club, you’re amazing - and we are so thankful for you!

Sweet Chewbacca came to us with a serious injury to his back end, and after being examined by our veterinary team, it was determined that he would need to have one of his back legs amputated. But before he could have this life-changing surgery, he needed time to heal enough to safely undergo the procedure.

That’s where his medical foster stepped in.

Chewbacca went into a foster home where he could receive the love, care and attention he needed while he waited for his surgery. Once he was strong enough, he was able to undergo his amputation - and it changed everything for this sweet boy.

Today, Chewbacca is doing wonderfully and, even better, he has been adopted! His journey from an injured kitten in need of extensive medical care to a happy kitten with a forever family is exactly the kind of happy ending we hope for every animal who comes through our doors.

And we were able to give Chewbacca that chance because of the incredible support of Orphan Kitten Club.

Their support helps us say YES to kittens who need more than the average kitten. It helps provide the medical care, surgeries and recovery time necessary to give these little ones the opportunity to heal, grow and find families of their own.

We are so incredibly grateful to Orphan Kitten Club for continuing to stand behind our kittens and the work we do. Chewbacca’s happy ending is one more reminder of just how much that support matters.

Thank you, Orphan Kitten Club, for helping us give Chewbacca his second chance - and his happily ever after!

Meet Coral, Tide, Surf & Cove! 🐾 These four adorable 6-week-old Catahoula mix puppies have officially washed ashore at the PARC, and they are ready to make a splash! 💦

With those sweet faces, tiny paws, and puppy personalities, we’re predicting a tidal wave of interest for these little cuties. 🌊🐶

But don’t wait for the tide to come in… these babies are going to go FAST! ⏰

Our Community Pet Food Pantry is running VERY low, and we need your help!

Right now, we are especially in need of cat and kitten food, and we’re also getting low on dog and puppy food.

Our Pet Food Pantry is available to anyone and everyone in our community who needs a little extra help keeping their pets fed. It exists because of the generosity of our community, allowing us to give back to the very people and pets who need us most.

If you’re able, please consider donating a bag or two of cat or dog food. We’ll take your donations, bag them up, and make sure they get into the hands of families who need them.

A bag of food may seem like a small thing, but to a family struggling to make ends meet, it can mean one more week of being able to keep their beloved pet at home, safe and fed.

Meet Mars 👩🏻‍🚀🚀

Mars is one of those dogs we talk about ALL. THE. TIME.

You know the question: “How in the world is this girl STILL waiting for a home?”

Seriously. We don't know either. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mars is about a year old, and she is one of those dogs who makes us say, “She is SUCH a good girl!” And yes, we know we say that a lot. But we mean it every. single. time.

This sweet sandy-blonde beauty is an absolute darling. She rides beautifully in the car, quietly hanging out in the back seat like she has somewhere important to be. She knows “sit” very well, LOVES playing in the water, and thinks making new dog friends is basically the best thing ever. She does wonderfully with other dogs!

And can we talk about that hair color? That gorgeous sandy blonde is EXACTLY the shade we're all going to be showing our hairstylists at our next appointment. “Yes, please. THIS. Mars blonde. Thank you.”

Mars has been waiting with us since May, aside from a few days when she was adopted. Unfortunately, that home wasn't the right fit, and Mars came back to us. She struggled with the younger children in the home, so we're recommending older kiddos for this girl. Little ones can be a bit overwhelming for her, and we want to make sure her next home is the one that sticks.

Because Mars deserves that. 💛

She deserves a family who sees what we see. A sweet, fun, beautiful, water-loving, dog-friendly GOOD GIRL who has been waiting far too long for someone to choose her.

Mars is already spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. All she needs now is YOU. Could you be the person who changes Mars' life? Could your home be the one she's been waiting for since May?
