Foster325

Foster325 We help churches and their members get involved in foster care. We exist to gather and equip local churches in the 325 area to get involved in foster care.

Our Vision: To raise up more than enough well-supported foster families for every foster child in the 325 area code by 2030. Our Mission: To gather, train, and support local churches to participate in foster care.

Curious about foster care?

Every one of us can play a role in meeting the needs of children in foster care.

The question is: What role will you or your church take?

On October 6, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Abilene Community Foundation, Foster 325 and our partner churches are hosting Explore Foster Care - a no-pressure evening designed to help you discover your next step.

🍽 Dinner provided

Foster325 had the privilege of hosting breakfast with Jason Johnson. This gathering was an opportunity to pour into our community champions, the people who quietly and faithfully show up for children and families in hard places every single day.

We are incredibly grateful to Jason Johnson for traveling to encourage our community and speak life into those serving foster families across our region. His words reminded us that even when the work feels slow, unseen, or heavy, faithfulness still matters. Progress is still progress. Seeds are still being planted. Lives are still being changed.

We also had the honor of presenting Judge April Propst with a Legacy of Faith & Servant Leadership Award in recognition of her years of service to our community through family court. Her compassion, leadership, and commitment to children and families have left a lasting impact on countless lives throughout our region.

There was such a genuine spirit of encouragement in the room as leaders, advocates, church members, and community partners came together with one shared purpose: caring well for vulnerable children and the families walking beside them.

Thank you, Jason, for the wisdom, humility, and hope you shared with us. Thank you to every champion who continues to serve with compassion, perseverance, and love. The harvest truly is plentiful, and we are grateful for those willing to step into the work.
