Flags of Honor Aberdeen We honor our active duty, veterans, and deceased military citizens by proudly displaying a flag sponsored by a loved one or employer in Festival Park.

The Flags of Honor project is sponsored by the Aberdeen, MD Chamber of Commerce as a way for the citizens and business community to show their support of our past, present, and future military heroes and first responders. Flags will be personalized with your honoree's name, branch of service, campaign, and the sponsor's name. The flags will be displayed 3 times each year in Festival Park as part o

f the City's commemoration of sacrifices already made for our freedom - Memorial Day, 9/11, and Veteran's Day. A flag sponsorship is a great gift for a loved one or co-worker and truly shows how much you care and appreciate their sacrifice for our country.

The Festival Park Flags of Honor continue to be a beautiful symbol of patriotism and respect for all those who serve the Republic of the United States.

The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-driven group that promotes business and quality of life in Aberdeen.

If you want to help with Flags of Honor or to get plugged in to our other activities, please contact the Chamber or me directly and we will get you on board.

We were fortunate today to have a couple volunteers who happened to be relaxing at the Park agree to help take down the flags. :)
