If you haven't stopped pruning, fertilizing and dead heading your roses, stop now. It's time for them to slow down. Winter is approaching. The featured rose is Emily Carr. A dark, red shrub rose from the Canadian Artist series. Give this girl some room she will be up to 4' wide and 6' tall by the end of the season. She is zone 3 hardy and will develop large rose hips in the fall.
