Received this on messenger. We are so excited about this project.

We were parking our car to go shop at Fashion Apparel on Coley Road in Tupelo when my daughter saw a heart hanging from a Crape Myrtle and asked if we could see what it was. They were so excited to find out that it was a little gift for them! Thank you for the teddy bear and for bringing joy to my two precious children!

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 26 Aberdeen, MS will hold it's annual National POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony Friday September 15, 2023 at American Legion Post 26, located at 523 Hwy 145, Aberdeen, MS at 7:00 pm. Please come and join us to recognize the POW/MIAs and vow to always remember.

Field of Flags for Veterans Day 2022. There are over 700 flags in the field this year. Thanks to the Aberdeen JROTC and the young Seebees group for helping with placing the flags. I also had a little helper in Babygirl but she was more interested in running than anything else.

Many of you know that I keep flags in my car and as I travel if I see one that needs to be replaced I donate a new flag. While we were at the Children's Home in Eldridge, AL, I noticed they did not have a flag on their pole. I asked about it and was told that it got really torn in the last storm that came through, so they took it down. I said I have a flag for you. It was an honor to help in raising the flag. We all saluted and said the Pledge of Allegience afterwards. It was a good day to be an American.

October 29 unit 26 members and juniors delivered personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies to the Freewill Baptist Children's Home in Eldridge, AL. For their Fall Harvest Drive to restock their pantry for the year.

A Halloween party was held October 21 for our juniors and area children. A spooky hayride ended the night.
