The Kurt Cobain Tribute Gallery Sign is officially in place, and respectfully overlooks the sidewalk that Kurt and Krist stood on in 1990 for an early photo shoot!

This marks another milestone. for The Music Project that moves us closer to our next phase.

Thank you to our friends, supporters, donors, and volunteers. We also want to extend a special thank you to our music history presentation partners, The Grays Harbor Community Foundation, Grays Harbor County Tourism, and the City of Aberdeen for being part of this journey, supporting, and believing in The Music Project mission.

Jin traveled from South Korea all the way here to Aberdeen, WA!!!

He really enjoyed the exhibit of the skateboard originally design by Kurt Cobain and replicated by Tony Hawk. We love sharing this history with visitors from all around the world.

Thank you Jin, for visiting with us & safe travels home.

Back stateside by way of Japan!

We were stoked to welcome Ben O’Keefe to Unplugged! He’s an awesome musician and playing a guitar signed by Chad Channing, original drummer of Nirvana.

From across the world to right here in Aberdeen, it’s always incredible to see these connections come full circle through music.

Safe travels back to Japan, Ben—we’re glad you made it back stateside and through our doors. Come see us again

From Goodyear to the Anti-Museum!

We had an awesome visit from 8-year-old Landon, all the way from Goodyear, AZ... and yes, he’s already a HUGE fan of Nirvana!

Landon dove right into the experience at Unplugged, loving all the interactive exhibits but his favorite? Getting hands-on with the soundboard and pushing every button he could find (as it should be).

This is exactly what it’s all about letting the next generation explore, get curious, and connect with music in a real, hands-on way.

Rock on, Landon! We’ll have the soundboard ready for you next time!!!

From Seattle & Mexico to The Anti-Museum!

Melissa Aguilar, visiting from Seattle, and her friend Juan Fer, all the way from Mexico, stopped by Unplugged and recreated the iconic Historic Highway Sign photo made famous by Krist Novoselic and Kurt Cobain.

Now part of the experience at The Music Project, this spot continues to connect fans from all over the world to a moment in music history that started right here.

We love seeing people recreate this photo in their own way. Thanks for making the journey and being part of the story!
