During Gold Star Family Week, we pause to honor the families of the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. While we can never fully repay the debt we owe to these heroes, we can ensure that their legacies live on through our deepest gratitude and respect. To the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, and siblings who carry the heavy burden of loss every single day: your resilience inspires us, your strength humbles us, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. We stand with you, today and always, wrapped in the enduring embrace of a grateful nation.

For Veterans, peace of mind can be a difficult thing to come by. When you need medical treatment and have a furry companion but no one to help take care of them what do you do?

The Battle Mountain Humane Society knows exactly what to do! You build a facility specifically for veterans to house their service dogs while getting treatment at the VA in Hot Springs SD.

In addition to our annual donation to the SD State Veterans Home we were honored to help with their mission. This wouldn’t be possible without the love and support we continue to receive from the community! Thank you for always helping us to help our veterans!!

Today was a special day as several veterans from our group were presented with Quilts of Valor.
Each stitch in these beautiful quilts represents our heartfelt gratitude for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. While no single gesture can ever fully repay what they’ve given, we hope these quilts bring them warmth, comfort, and a lasting reminder of how much they are appreciated.

Congratulations to each of you and thank you for your service!
