🛣️ They want the city and the backroads suspicious of each other.

🏚️ They want rural people isolated, ignored, mocked, and abandoned until the far right shows up with a clipboard, a flag, and a fake rescue plan.

🏙️ They want city people burned out, priced out, surveilled, and convinced there is nothing past the last bus stop but enemies and dead ends.

🧱 That divide is not natural.

It was built.

By bosses.
By landlords.
By cops.
By extraction companies.
By politicians.
By media machines.
By every institution that needs us lonely, suspicious, and easy to manage.

🚐 We’re not buying it.

Sabot Media is hitting the road because the map they gave us is a lie.

🌾 City blocks and backroads are part of the same fight.

Ports and farms.
Trailer parks and tenements.
Union halls and punk houses.
Mutual aid tables and kitchen tables.
Strike funds and bail funds.
Forest roads and alleyways.
People who stayed, people who left, and people trying to come home.

📼 We’re going town to town to listen, document, connect, agitate, and carry stories across the distance they tried to turn into a wall.

Sabot Media is hitting the road to bridge the widening rural urban divide we feel.

We’re taking the big black van through the region to document radical history, labor struggle, mutual aid, anti-fascist organizing, independent media, and the weird stubborn networks that keep people alive when institutions fail.

Right now, we’re looking for help along the route.

We need:

places to host a talk
floors, couches, yards, or safe parking spots
local organizers, historians, artists, workers, and weirdos to interview
community spaces, infoshops, union halls, bookstores, house venues, punk houses, and back rooms
food, gas, repair support, and road money
leads on stories that don’t usually get told

This project is part road trip, part archive, part media tour, part field report from the edges of a collapsing empire. Very normal summer activity.

so we’re going to go find it.
