WOW what an incredible run we had this round of Aspiring for the Ace of Hearts!! We wrapped up this round with the pot at $3,190!!

A huge THANK YOU to Buffalo Wild Wings of Aberdeen ( LLC) for hosting and generously donating all of the gift cards! ❤️

Many thanks to the people from the Aspire Foundation Board members and Aspire employees who came out in support and helped make this fundraiser possible every Thursday!

And, of course, a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who purchased tickets and supported the Ace of Hearts! Your generosity and continued support of the Aspire Foundation and Aspire mean so much to us. ❤️

As we look back on this incredible journey, we are so grateful for the community support that made Aspiring for the Ace of Hearts such a success. While we will not be continuing with another round of the Ace of Hearts at this time, we are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and cheered us on along the way.

This is a time of fun, learning and recognition for these DSPs who work hard making a difference every single day. Congratulations to Amber Locke for being Aspire's September Un-Be-Leaf-Able Award winner!

Amber is your go-to person whenever there’s a predicament. Whether it’s scheduling, personnel, something personal, or even something completely unexpected—she usually has you covered.

Most recently, she has gone above and beyond in assisting an individual who has experienced a significant decline in cognition, resulting in increased aggression and resistance during bathing. Although this isn’t a task that would normally be part of her day, she has made a point to go out when she’s able to provide this direct support.

And she hasn’t just shown up—she’s taken the time to figure out what works, build trust, and thoughtfully document the process. This will hopefully allow some of that success to be replicated with other staff as the person we support becomes more comfortable and tolerant of their support.

This is just one example of the countless little things she does every day to support the people we serve and the team around her.

She is truly Un-Be-Leaf-Able!
