SkillsUSA South Dakota kicked off in Mitchell!

We have 18 incredible kids from Aberdeen School competing this year, with 6 of them taking on carpentry 🔨—how awesome is that?!

We’re so proud of these students for putting their skills to the test and representing our community. Can’t wait to see how they do—good luck to all of you!

Today 3/28 come down to City Lights 5-7 and have some fun! Support a good cause of fundraising to help local Aberdeen Central ATEC kids. 100% of the money raised is for sending them to Skills USA competition in Mitchell SD. Skills competition is for the kids to test their knowledge and skills in a certain CTE program Carpentry, welding, automotive maintenance. This helps them build skills and interest to better peruse the trade, where workforce is greatly needed and the benefit is to everyone..
