Lord God, we bow our hearts in humility. We humbly declare our need for you, just as the people of old, and ask for your Divine help with the huge challenges in our community that appear hopeless.
We come together in faith, in the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. We come in faith for the things we cannot yet see but believe so deeply in our hearts.
We need your love for the hurting, the brokenhearted, and the downtrodden- both seen and unseen. Do not let our hearts become callous and cold in the face of suffering humanity, but give us wisdom, guidance, and solutions that will restore justice, heal divisions, save lives, and lead this community into better days.
Lift the clouds of oppression, drown out the cackle of cynicism, and silence the voice of evil. By your grace, Lord Jesus, bring joy, faith, and genuine victory over darkness.
Restore our hope for a better future for our families and those who will come after us, that our best days are ahead, not behind us. We are confident that you are a faithful God. Restore our hearts to you, restore our dreams for this community.

This morning, rain or shine, we are praying for our city! Why don't you come join us? It starts at 7:30 a.m. and lasts for 30 minutes. Come join other people that believe in prayer and want God's blessing on our city. See you there! Right across from Rite Aid in downtown Aberdeen at the base of the Chehalis river bridge.
