Hello Aberdeen Families,

If you missed our monthly PTSA general membership meeting on Oct. 16th, you missed a wealth of information shared regarding the Youth Leadership and Engagement Summit that will be held at Aberdeen High School on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

The purpose of the Youth Leadership and Engagement Summit is to give students in grades 6–12 the opportunity to develop and showcase their leadership skills through workshop sessions and a mock convention. Students will also learn practical tools, strategies, and enjoy fun activities to help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. The theme for our summit is Ignite the Future, it reflects our commitment to inspiring the next generation of leaders and we are excited to have your children be a part of it.

The event is open to all students who live in Harford County, regardless of where they attend school, public, private, parochial, independent, or homeschool. Students are encouraged to invite their friends even if they attend different schools!
