Coming this Sunday! As a former Education Director for this program, Pastor Joe is excited to welcome the newest branch of Adult and Teen Challenge as they join us this Sunday at 3:16 Church in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. What is Adult and Teen Challenge? It is a nationwide network of faith-based, non-profit licensed and certified residential recovery centers for men, women, teens, and even pregnant moms, providing programs for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as other life-controlling issues.
The core program operates on a Christ-centered model that focuses on the mind, body, and spirit. Rather than just addressing the symptoms of addiction, the organization helps individuals uncover the root causes of their behavior and establishes healthy, lifelong coping skills. It has an incredibly high success rate compared to any 30, 60, or 90-day programs because it has to do with who you are as a person, right down to your identity, not just what has happened to you. We will be receiving a 2nd offering for the new Adult and Teen Challenge in Wausau, Wisconsin. Be praying about how the Lord would lead you to give in time, talent, or finances. The new center will need volunteers and others to assist with various forms of ministry. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday @ 10:00 am!

Some who do not attend Spirit-filled churches may have thought, or were told at some point by a pastor, leader, or well-meaning parishioner from a different denomination, that Pentecostal or "Spirit-filled" churches do not study, don't know how to rightly divide the word of truth, or only talk about emotions and shoot from the hip spiritually.
