Maddie Raxsdale (Celeste #2) is currently completing her associate’s degree in Application Software Development at South Louisiana Community College. After several years away from the stage, she’s excited to be back in the theatre world and especially excited to finally be doing a show with her sister again. Outside of theatre, Maddie enjoys gaming, drawing, swimming, and all things tech.

Evie is a 16 year old homeschooled student. This is her 4th show with Abbey Players and her 16th show overall! Her favorite roles have been Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Nala in Lion King, Elsa in Frozen the Musical, Lydia in Beetlejuice, Janis in Mean Girls, and Wednesday in the Addams Family. She is so grateful to her family, friends, and teachers for their love and support. Enjoy the show!

Aiden Wade is an 18 year old freshman at ULL. This is his first show at Abbey Players, but he has done several shows around Lafayette and Abbeville. Aiden recently played Count Leopold (Anastasia) at Looking Glass, Lesgles (Les Miserables) at CYT, and Gabe (Lightning Thief) at Wonderland Performing Arts. He hopes to direct a show in the near future.

Ivy Lancon (Yvonne) is very much looking forward to donning a parasol for Abbey’s latest production. She was recently in Fiddler on the Roof (Chava) and Elf (Deb), as well as The Little Mermaid and Freaky Friday at IPAL. When not doing theater, Ivy can be found doing shows with her band, Damsel. She enjoys music and art of all kinds, and is enthusiastic about bringing to life what she feels is a poignant intersection between the two.

Ashtyn Raxsdale is a Master’s student in Speech Pathology at UL. She’s been involved in community theatre for 10+ years, performing with IPAL, Abbey Players, CCT, CYT, and The Looking Glass. Some of her favorite shows she has been a part of include The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams), Freaky Friday (Ellie Blake), Be More Chill (Jenna), and Sweeney Todd (featured ensemble). She enjoys working with the D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation to make theatre more accessible for those with different abilities. She is excited to be a part of another Sondheim show!

Natial Perrin d’Augereau has been performing at Abbey Players for almost 30 years, and can’t seem to stop. She is originally from Henry and currently lives near Abbeville with David, her husband of 49 years. Her friends say “to know her is to love her”. She hopes they are right.

Over the coming days, we'll be introducing each member of our talented cast—the artists, dreamers, and storytellers who will take you on this unforgettable journey of love, art, and imagination.
Lana Carver has performed a wide variety of styles and roles from Broadway to opera. Some of her roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Miss Titmouse in Too Many Sopranos, and in 2023 made her Abbeville debut as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd with the Abbey Players. Since then she has music directed for Little Shop of Horrors and Descendants the Musical with CYT and Spamalot and Seussical with Abbey Players. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Not only does she spend her days as a special education teacher for the local school system, but she also teaches private voice lessons and collaborates regularly with CYT Lafayette. She and her husband Joshua have been married for 18 years and have 4 beautiful children that keep their days and hearts filled to the brim!

Trey Menard is very excited to be performing with Abbey Players. Trey is currently a Senior at UL majoring in General Studies with a minor in Sports Communication. He was most recently seen in the spring as Motel in Fiddler on the Roof at IPAL, and over the years has performed with CYT, CCT, IPAL and Cite des Arts. He is very excited to be performing again with many talented actors, and being on stage with his brother once again. He would like to dedicate this performance to the late Stephen Sondheim. It is truly an honor to help bring Sondheim’s work to life, and this performance is dedicated to his extraordinary legacy.
