This is a charity event to raise money for Wally’s warriors relay for life team!! All proceeds will go to America cancer society for Relay for life!

With colder weather moving in, Screamer Fire Department would like to remind everyone to practice safe heating habits to prevent fires and carbon monoxide emergencies.

🔥keep space heaters at least 3 feet way from anything that can burn.
🔥 Never use ovens, grills, or generators to heat your home.
🔥Turn off heaters before leaving the room or going to bed.
🔥Make sure smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
🔥Have chimneys and heating systems inspected and cleaned regularly.

Taking a few extra precautions can keep your family warm and safe this winter. Stay safe and stay warm!

Next week Screamer Fire along with other departments from Henry Co. will be training with the Propane Similator from The Alabama Fire College. This is a great way, in a controlled setting, to learn the skills needed in the event of an emergency involving Propane tanks. If members from the community hear loud noise or happen to come by and see this, don't be alarmed....we are just continuing our education and training hard to better serve the folks of our community.

Due to the health concerns during the outbreak of Corona Virus, we sadly announce that we are cancelling the Benefit Fish Fry and Poker Run for Wally Howerton. We will definitely readjust our plans and come up with a better fitting date to have this Benefit. We are taking all precautions to ensure your health and well being along with Wally and his Family's. If anyone has purchased a ticket, just hang onto it and it will be good for the new Event date.
