We are pleased to announce that the Global Connect Courses – Seírios GED Program will begin on 11th of May 2026.

The GED diploma (equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma) offers a valuable alternative for refugees, immigrants approaching adulthood, and adults proficient in English . It is widely recognized in the private sector and provides opportunities for admission to American and various European colleges and universities.

Application Process

Step 1: Placement Test
Placement tests will be held on:

Monday 4/5

Wednesday 6/5

Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The test is designed to assess each participant’s English language proficiency and determine eligibility for the GED course. In case you cannot attend on these 2 specific dates please send us in whats app.

Step 2: Orientation
Those selected will be required to attend an Orientation on Friday, May 8th , at 5:00 PM

During this session, we will complete your registration and provide an overview of the program.
Please remember to bring your Identity Card.

Step 3: Course Start Date
The program officially begins on Monday, May 11th, 2026.

Starting today, our organization will be hosted at the premises of Together for Better Days. We would like to warmly thank Better Days for their trust and support and for the truly impactful work they are doing.

Our organization will be operating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 17:00 to 20:00.

The GED Program will resume with a new cycle of classes starting on July 1, 2025 (Sciences Unit). The GED diploma is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma and provides a valuable alternative for refugees, migrants approaching adulthood, and adults who have a good command of English and prior educational experience. Important Key Dates and Steps to Complete Enrollment and Start Date:
Step 1: Placement test. 25th ,26th, 27th from 16:00 to 18:00. We will conduct a placement test to assess the English language proficiency of prospective participants and determine their eligibility for the GED course.
Step 2: Orientation: April 2nd at 14:00 to 17:00 will be the Orientation. Those selected will be required to attend the Orientation. We will Complete your registration and an overview of the Program.

Our inspiration lies in providing opportunities for young people to pursue their dreams. The GED diploma offers a strong alternative for those who find the Greek educational system unattainable, whether due to the length of studies or language barriers.

We are delighted to share the story of our student, R*y*, who completed all four sections of the GED program in an exceptionally short time with outstanding scores. His achievement was crowned by his acceptance to Deree - The American College of Greece, where he will study for a BA in Communication.

Our goal is to create opportunities for vulnerable populations, such as refugees and migrants aged 17 and above, giving them a second chance to chase their dreams or enhance their professional profiles in the private sector.

Η έμπνευσή μας είναι να προσφέρουμε ευκαιρίες σε νέα παιδιά και νέους ανθρώπους να κυνηγήσουν τα όνειρά τους. Το απολυτήριο GED αποτελεί μια ισχυρή εναλλακτική επιλογή για όσους το ελληνικό σχολείο δεν είναι εφικτή λύση, είτε λόγω της διάρκειας φοίτησης είτε λόγω της γλώσσας.

Με χαρά μοιραζόμαστε την ιστορία του μαθητή μας, Ρ*y*, ο οποίος ολοκλήρωσε και τις τέσσερις ενότητες του προγράμματος GED σε εξαιρετικά σύντομο διάστημα και με υψηλή βαθμολογία. Το επίτευγμά του επισφραγίστηκε με την εισαγωγή του στο Deree - The American College of Greece, όπου θα σπουδάσει BA in Communication.

Στόχος μας είναι να δίνουμε ευκαιρίες σε ευάλωτους πληθυσμούς, όπως πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες ηλικίας 17 ετών και άνω, προσφέροντάς τους μια δεύτερη ευκαιρία να κυνηγήσουν τα όνειρά τους ή να ενισχύσουν το βιογραφικό τους για τον ιδιωτικό τομέα.

The next unit of the American GED diploma program (English) will begin on January 7th. The program runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 17:00 to 19:00 o clock.
If you're interested in joining, you're welcome to take the English diagnostic test on any of the following dates: Tuesday, January 7th, Wednesday, January 8th, or Thursday, January 9th.
This diploma is equivalent to a United States high school diploma and serves as a significant alternative opportunity for refugees/immigrants approaching adulthood, as well as adults proficient in English with some educational background from their home country.
