ity Based Organization is proposed to transform lives of Youth (Children) particularly living in the refugees’ settlements, internal displaced persons camps and the Host communities by giving them an equal opportunity to achieve their dreams. This can be achieved through informing, educating advocating and empowering the Youth (Children) and their caretakers to overcome the problem of insufficient knowledge and access to ICT services, poor health and nutrition standards, lack of entrepreneurship and development skills, continued violation of Children Rights and persistence of illiteracy among the refugees and host communities.

Inside Bidibidi refugee settlements, 15 refugee children with hearing impairments are struggling to access meaningful education due to the lack of inclusive learning support and trained teachers. Although they attend school alongside other children, many are unable to follow classroom lessons and often rely only on what is written on the blackboard.

Without immediate support, these children face the risk of being left behind academically and socially, limiting their opportunities for growth, independence, and a better future.

The Refugee Voice is launching an urgent fundraising campaign to raise USD 10,000 to support the relocation and enrollment of these children into schools that provide inclusive education, trained teachers, and specialized learning support suited to their needs.

The support raised will help provide:
✅ Enrollment into inclusive and supportive schools
✅ Access to trained teachers and specialized educational support
✅ School fees, scholastic materials, and learning resources
✅ A safe and empowering learning environment for vulnerable refugee children

For children living in refugee settlements, education is more than a classroom experience — it is protection, dignity, hope, and the foundation for a better future. By supporting this initiative, you are helping ensure that children with disabilities are not excluded from the opportunity to learn and thrive.

We call upon donors, humanitarian partners, organizations, well-wishers, and individuals of goodwill to stand with these children and help restore their right to quality and inclusive education.

Peace Child Foundation is a refugee youth-led, faith-based, community-driven non-profit organization established in 2022. The organization was founded by young people with lived experiences of displacement, vulnerability, and resilience, driven by a shared commitment to restoring hope and dignity within their communities.

Rooted in grassroots action, Peace Child Foundation works with vulnerable children, youth, and marginalized communities affected by poverty, conflict, abuse, disease, and natural disasters. Its approach combines humanitarian response, development programming, and spiritual nurturing to achieve sustainable and holistic transformation.

2. Vision

We envision a Christ-centered generation of children and youth who are empowered, resilient, and full of hope living in communities transformed by love, dignity, and purpose.

3. Mission

Our mission is to restore hope and dignity among vulnerable children and communities affected by poverty, conflict, abuse, disease, and natural disasters. We do this through a holistic and Christ-centered approach that combines empowerment, skills development, and advocacy, while nurturing spiritual growth, discipleship, and a strong foundation of love, compassion, and service.

4. Core Values

• Christ at the Center: Our work is inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, guiding us to serve with humility, compassion, and love.
• Love and Compassion: We respond to human suffering with empathy and genuine care, especially for the most vulnerable.
• Integrity: We uphold honesty, accountability, and transparency in all that we do.
• Dignity and Inclusion: We believe every person is created in God’s image and deserves respect, fairness, and equal opportunity.
• Empowerment: We equip individuals with the tools and confidence to transform their lives and communities.
• Faith and Discipleship: We create space for spiritual growth, mentorship, and Christian fellowship to nurture strong character and purpose.

5. Organizational Background

Peace Child Foundation was established in response to the increasing challenges faced by refugee and host communities, where children and youth are disproportionately affected by limited access to education, protection risks, unemployment, and social exclusion.

The founders recognized the need for a youth-led initiative that not only provides immediate support but also empowers individuals to become agents of change. By integrating faith-based principles with practical interventions, the organization addresses both the physical and spiritual dimensions of vulnerability.

6. Goals

• To empower children and youth to live purposeful, self-reliant lives grounded in strong values and Christian faith.
• To strengthen community resilience through sustainable, inclusive, and faith-driven development initiatives.
• To promote and protect the rights and well-being of vulnerable children.
• To nurture spiritual growth, discipleship, and leadership among young people.
• To inspire positive transformation through faith-based action and community engagement.

7. Strategic Objectives

• Provide access to education, vocational skills, and life opportunities integrated with faith-based mentorship.
• Strengthen child protection and advocacy systems within communities.
• Facilitate Christian fellowship, discipleship programs, and safe spaces for spiritual growth.
• Promote sustainable livelihoods through entrepreneurship and capacity-building initiatives.
• Support psychosocial well-being through community-based and faith-informed approaches.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with faith-based and development organizations to expand impact
