Peace Child Foundation is a refugee youth-led, faith-based, community-driven non-profit organization established in 2022. The organization was founded by young people with lived experiences of displacement, vulnerability, and resilience, driven by a shared commitment to restoring hope and dignity within their communities.
Rooted in grassroots action, Peace Child Foundation works with vulnerable children, youth, and marginalized communities affected by poverty, conflict, abuse, disease, and natural disasters. Its approach combines humanitarian response, development programming, and spiritual nurturing to achieve sustainable and holistic transformation.
2. Vision
We envision a Christ-centered generation of children and youth who are empowered, resilient, and full of hope living in communities transformed by love, dignity, and purpose.
3. Mission
Our mission is to restore hope and dignity among vulnerable children and communities affected by poverty, conflict, abuse, disease, and natural disasters. We do this through a holistic and Christ-centered approach that combines empowerment, skills development, and advocacy, while nurturing spiritual growth, discipleship, and a strong foundation of love, compassion, and service.
4. Core Values
• Christ at the Center: Our work is inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, guiding us to serve with humility, compassion, and love.
• Love and Compassion: We respond to human suffering with empathy and genuine care, especially for the most vulnerable.
• Integrity: We uphold honesty, accountability, and transparency in all that we do.
• Dignity and Inclusion: We believe every person is created in God’s image and deserves respect, fairness, and equal opportunity.
• Empowerment: We equip individuals with the tools and confidence to transform their lives and communities.
• Faith and Discipleship: We create space for spiritual growth, mentorship, and Christian fellowship to nurture strong character and purpose.
5. Organizational Background
Peace Child Foundation was established in response to the increasing challenges faced by refugee and host communities, where children and youth are disproportionately affected by limited access to education, protection risks, unemployment, and social exclusion.
The founders recognized the need for a youth-led initiative that not only provides immediate support but also empowers individuals to become agents of change. By integrating faith-based principles with practical interventions, the organization addresses both the physical and spiritual dimensions of vulnerability.
