📢 Independent Message from South Sudanese Refugee Women in Uganda

Our voices matter. Our leadership matters. Our future matters.

We call for the meaningful, safe, and equal participation of South Sudanese refugee women in all decision-making spaces that shape our lives and communities.

Refugee women are leaders, peacebuilders, caregivers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. We must have a seat at the table where decisions are made not just as beneficiaries, but as equal partners.

We urge humanitarian organizations, government institutions, development partners, and community leaders to ensure that refugee women are represented, heard, and empowered to influence policies and programs that affect us.

Nothing about us, without us.

When women lead, communities thrive. It is time to turn commitments into action and ensure that every refugee woman's voice counts.
