ike-minded South Sudanese refugee youths in Uganda with its former name Truth Works International (TWI). MICPAD is registered with the office of the local government of Barakala town council, Yumbe District - Uganda as a community based organization with the registration number BAR/000214. MICPAD comprises of diverse and dynamic group of competent young people from different backgrounds, each with experience and specific qualities that has helped to run, develop and sustain the organization as it continuous to provide support to individuals, families, schools and to different communities. Objectives
a. Main Objective
To promote and equip communities with conflict resolution and prevention skills, peacebuilding and leadership skills, technological skills, economic and spiritual empowerment. To build trust, safety, healthy relationships and social cohesion within and between communities.
2. To support and strengthen social innovations, economic empowerment and education programs to reduce poverty and conflict in order to increased safety and well-being of individuals, families and communities.
3. Empower community leaders, religious leaders, teachers, students, women, and youths, on conflict resolution approach that promotes accountability, respect, collaborations, relationships and that lays down strategies to prevent future violence.
4. Helping people and communities to resolve their differences peacefully through restorative justice circles and dialogues.
5. To support the vulnerable or disadvantaged groups in conflict and natural disaster affected communities to foster recovery from both physical, mental, emotional and economically.
6. Reach out with the gospel of Christ to families, schools and hospitals, and to different communities through evangelism, discipleship, conferences, seminars, crusades and Bible study programs that encourages trauma healing, peace building and innovative development.
7. To establish community peace and innovation centers to promote sustainable peace and development.
8. Conduct advocacy and awareness campaigns on climate change and environmental protection.
9. To establish mini-health centers for children, women and girls in different communities

• MICPAD works with churches, schools, community leadership structures, organized community groups (Youth, Women and children), families and individuals to reach different communities with the impact of our work.
• We can also collaborate with the local government sectors, private development sectors, International/National organizations, Community/Faith based organizations, teaching institutions, technological organizations, corporate sectors and individuals for the effective implementation of our programs. Major Thematic Areas
The major thematic areas of MICPAD are:
1. Peace Building
• Conduct peace building trainings, seminars, workshops and conferences.
• Provide a restorative conflict resolution approach training to schools, churches, community leadership structures, families and individuals.
• We Train, facilitate, and promote restorative justice circles and community dialogues that aims at resolving conflict, restoration and prevention.
• Support and organize peace building TV and radio talk shows.
• Organize Peace building events like; games and sports, music festivals, cultural gala and community peace outreaches.
• Empowering local youths to record films/music videos and audios that passes messages that promotes peace and unity in their communities.
2. Livelihood/Economic Empowerment
• Agriculture: To empower the lives of community members by providing trainings and promoting the best practices of Agriculture.
• Micro-business: Empower youths and women by providing trainings and financial support in micro-business and Entrepreneurship skills. In addition to that, we also provide support and promote innovative self-reliant skills like handcrafts, fine art, etc.
• Digital Technology: Providing basic computer training, photography and videography to youths, women, children and the disabled persons.
• Provide basic needs support to PSN’s.
3. Education and Training
• Setting up community library and learning centers for youths and children
• Advocate and create awareness for equal rights to education for all youths and children.
• Youth talent and career guidance.
4. Climate Change and Environmental protection
• Educate the community on environmental protection measures
• Inform the community to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle cloths, plastics, electronics and other harmful items to the environment.
• Promote tree planting in communities.
5. Evangelism and Discipleship
• Conduct gospel outreaches/crusades, discipleship and bible study programs in schools, churches, market lines, hospitals, etc.
• Conduct conferences, workshops, fellowships and seminars.
• Psychosocial Support: Conduct trauma healing and counseling seasons and referrals. Trauma and stress management activities like; sports such as football, volleyball, jogging, jumping rope, gym, including music events, movies events, touring events, etc.
6. Advocacy and Awareness
• Conduct advocacy and awareness to help inform communities on any arising issue or any information pertaining them that they need to know.
