We opened Threads of Transformation with the women at the heart of our story.

The first collection of the evening was created by previous beneficiaries of A Woman’s Worth and showcased on the runway by the Miss Universe Uganda finalists.

Each garment represented much more than fashion. It reflected the skills, creativity, determination, and progress of women who once joined our programmes to build a more independent future for themselves and their families.

There could not have been a more meaningful way to open our 10th-anniversary show.

This is where transformation becomes visible, one stitch, one skill, and one woman at a time.

Designed and created by the talented women of the A Woman's Worth Fashion Academy, every look represents months of dedication, learning, and believing in themselves. From taking their very first stitches to confidently presenting a complete collection on the runway, their journey is a powerful reminder that opportunity, determination, and the right support can transform lives.

Inspired by the vibrant colours and timeless beauty of kikoy, the collection celebrates East African heritage while showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of our students.

This wasn't just a fashion collection. It was proof of what is possible.
