Wakisa Ministries Wakisa Ministries is a Crisis Pregnancy and Counselling centre in Uganda founded by Vivian Kityo

Wakisa Ministries was born out of Vivian Kityo’s vision and passion for young women with unwanted pregnancies in Uganda. The primary focus is the physical, emotional, social and spiritual health of the girls, young mothers and their babies. One of the strategies to deliver care was the establishment of a crisis pregnancy centre within the suburbs of the Kampala.

Our girls went back to school this term.
Going back is rarely simple. There are fees to find, childcare to arrange, and so many questions follow. Those things don't disappear because a girl decides she still wants to learn.
Wakisa walks with each young mother through that process, counselling, help with school placement, and follow-up once she is back in class. The decision to return is hers. Our part is making sure she isn't doing it alone.
